Bread and butter, grits and gravy….

Ultrachronic is a four-piece rock band from Denver, CO. Consisting of vocalist, Kyle Ingram; guitarist, D. Scott Morris; bassist, Dave Crotser; and drummer, Brendon Speas, Ultrachronic’s brand of sound could be described as aggressive ‘hybrid-style’ rock in the vein of 311, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rage Against The Machine and Incubus, among others.

Contrary to popular opinion and assumption, the band’s name wasn’t at all inspired by cannabis sativa, commonly referred to as ‘The Chronic’. By popular definition, ‘Ultrachronic’ means ‘the sickest of the sick’ – which is the way the band prefers to describe its music. Ultrachronic’s bread and butter sound is the fusion of funky bass, aggressive hip-hop beats, flowing rhymes, infectious melodies, and gritty, funky guitars. Their mission: to get their people hopping.

Ultrachronic broke out into the Denver live-music scene in the summer of 2005, and with their lively performances, have been received with great enthusiasm by both venues and fans alike. The band is determined to continue packing the floors and inspiring the “hop” into their listeners with their signature blend of hard rock, funk and hip-hop that can only be described as ‘Ultrachronic’.
