Bio

Tears Fall Red is a post-hardcore band from Bozeman, Montana. However, the five members of the band come from very different musical backgrounds. This mix of musical preference is what makes Tears Fall Red unique. They have the intensity and speed to catch the attention of hardcore and metal fanatics as well as melodic abilities that will grab the ear of the casual music listener.

The band started in mid-September with C.J., Garrett, and Wilson jamming in Wilson’s garage. The band got in touch with ex-Do Unto Others singer Marty Burckhard who was interested in starting a hardcore-based band in Montana as well. The members’ styles worked well with each other and they began writing more songs. Charlie Kudson filled in as bass player for a few months while the band searched for a full-time bassist. Mid-March, Jared Gabriel from Havre stepped up to fill the spot and is now the full time bassist for Tears Fall Red.

Tears Fall Red will enter Peak Recording Studio in Bozeman in late May, and will then be heading to New York in early June for the mixing and mastering process at Big Blue Meenie Studios. The album, to be titled The Exhaustion of Innoncence, will be mixed and mastered by Tim Gilles, who has fine-tuned the sound on albums from bands such as Thursday and Taking Back Sunday.

The Exhaustion of Innoncence will be available July, 2005.
