Legend states that between the 15th and 17th centuries in southern Italy the tarantella was a song and dance that cured the victim bitten by the
poisonous tarantula. Here, in Denver, Tarantella is a band that brings a
somewhat gaucho Argentina to a wild west in hopes to cure those bitten.

Some of Denver’s best musicians back one of Denver’s best singers to make one of Denver’s best bands.

Tarantella. Members include current and former members of Slim Cessna’s Auto Club, 16 Horsepower, Woven Hand, Lilium, and Blood Axis.

Tarantella’s hiatus has ended and a new album will be released in the near future. Concerts can also be expected soon.

The Smooch demo by the band is long gone and the only available track is on Local Shakedown II (Smooch #5).
