Bio

In 2000 a band from Phoenix Arizona called When Heaven Bleeds once existed.
With great promise this band looked toward the future only to find their survival
would be short lived…

From the ashes of When Heaven Bleeds; remaining members Jeremiah Cooper(drums),
Chris Nick(Bass Guitar), Rob Zimmerli(Guitar), and Jonathan Chunglo(Vocals)
brought forth a new more powerful band. In 2003 Red Tear Memory was born.

The band quickly went to work in search of a new second guitarist. Where upon
they found Jake Green. A skilled artist, his quick picking style and fast sweeps made
him a perfect fit for the position.

The bands style is a collection of genres. Mainly influenced by the sounds of Scandinavian
Melodic Death Metal, but also by traditional styles of Death, Thrash, and and a hint of
Metalcore. The band has created a very unique sound to their music. Fast, tight, and brutal
yet catchy and melodic.

The future holds much in-store for Red Tear Memory. Currently the band is finishing
their five song EP, putting together merchandise, promoting, and still managing to play
shows whenever possible. By Mid-Summer the band is hoping to do a Tour of
along the West Coast.

Red Tear Memory has had many great opportunities playing with some of the best
band’s in the Metal Scene today. Such as…
Strapping Young Lad, Samael, Candaria, Noctuary, Vehemence, Cattle Decapitation ,
Cathedral, Steel Prophet, Impaler, Crematorium, The Devin Townsend Band, Symphony X,
Vital Remains, Welcome To Your Life, Dead To Fall, Amorphis, Reflux, Manntis, Into
Eternity, 36 Crazyfists, Cydne Raven, Crisis, and Radiation 4, Satyricon, 3 Inches of Blood.
and many other great bands along the road.

The Red Tear Memory…..A time comes in a persons life that something happens. Something
so horrific, so terrible and so disturbing the mind shuts it out and locks it away. A
thought to be buried and never re-surfaced again. It is said that a person can will
themselves to raise boils on their hands or to recover from a terminal illness, and as
such, something like that shut away memory, so painful, when triggered can also make
a person shed a tear of blood.
