Obie Trice was born in Detroit, Michigan in November 1978. At just eleven years old, e knew he wanted to spend his life rapping. On his eleventh birthday, his mother bought him a karaoke machine. He then began filling his time, writing lyrics and making beats. Trice attended Cooley High School in Detroit. On October 5, 1998 his daughter Kobie was born. Jut like his mentor, Eminem, Trice began rapping at the Detroit Hip-Hop School. He then took the stage name, Obie-Wan. D-12
