Meshach, pronounced Me-Shack, was formed in 2000 by guitarist Ben Donnelly and Vocalist Geoffrey. Having been friends for four years and playing in many bands around the Denver area, it was only natural that the two finally started something together. After months of planning and writing on an acoustic guitar the two joined up with bass player Luke Miller. The three played together for a couple months until finally settling on Cory Munds. Each of the four members of Meshach brings a totally different pallet of influences to the music. Bands such as Glassjaw, Far, and Incubus play a big part in the influences, but so do bands such as Talking Heads and Bad Brains. With such a diverse musical spectrum, Meshach plays their own brand of rock with a hard, but still melodic, emo edge. With catchy rhythyms and vocal hooks Meshach is a band that is to be contended with on a national level.
