The origin of FACECAGE dates back to June of 2001. Wasting little time, FACECAGE quickly hit the club circuit and established themselves as a powerful and professional live act, opening for many metal national artists (hed pe, Nonpoint, Black Label Society, Static X, 40 Below Summer, Spineshank, RA, Adema, Staind, Powerman 5000, E Town Concrete, Unloco, Double Drive, Lo Pro, and more) and encountering swift fan devotion with every performance. FACECAGE has developed a tremendous and loyal following built on the strength of their energetic, crowd-inspiring live show. Thirteen months succeeding the formation of FACECAGE, the band released their self-titled CD to a near sold out crowd at the famous, Hairy Marys in Des Moines.
