ESOVAE (pronounce s of a) was formed in 1998 by guitarist Brett Walston. Vocalist Marilyn Taylor joined soon thereafter, followed by percussionist Bill Travis, and finally they found their missing link, bassist Scott Dankel. With their full length album “E3”, their experience, and driven performances, Esovae has quickly gained respect and admiration.
ESOVAE received the Rising Star 2003 Award at The Colorado Underground Music Awards and were featured on the cover of Riff Music Magazine as artist pick of the month May 2003. The band was invited to participate in the annual Cruefest 2003 benefit at the Whisky A Go-Go and Quiet Riot’s 2003 DVD release at The Cat Club in Hollywood, CA. They have also had the honor of entertaining at The Denver Bronco’s Fan Fair 2003 at Invesco Field at Mile High, which landed them a pre-game performance at the Denver Broncos vs. Pittsburg Steelers Game 200
