Eight Fingers Down is a forceful and dynamic punk band from the San Fernando Valley in California. E.F.D. emerged from the ashes of Mike and Bret’s previous band “Triage” in September of 2001. After writing new material they headed straight into the studio to record a demo. In 2002 E.F.D. played countless amounts of shows throughout southern California, and once again went into the studio to record their “Four Songs in Two Days” E.P.

2003 was the year that they decided to push the envelope. In less than a year, E.F.D. wrote and recorded their full-length album “Broken Crowns & Crooked Frowns”, bought a van and hit the road without looking back. They have recently upgraded to a bus AKA “The Punkrocket” and are touring forever.

After a busy 2003, Eight Fingers Down has picked up a couple of new members, and once again started to write new material. Every year that goes by E.F.D. seems to bring more accomplishments to the table, which means 2004 is going to be one tough, but exciting year.

Throughout the years of their existence, bands, promoters, venues, and other companies have noticed them, asking them to play various events and concerts. The invitation is never disappointing; E.F.D.’s live show proves that the band not only has talent but also a yearning for the stage.

E.F.D. considers themselves a “live band” because of these simple reasons:
1. The energetic shows that they put on.
2. You never know what to expect when you see them.
3. They seem to feel “at home” when they are on stage.

Eight Fingers Down has a way of making any show fun and interesting. Whether it is in front of 2 or 2000 people, E.F.D. always gives it their best. For them no venue is too small, or too big, either way everyone has a good experience after an Eight Fingers Down show.
