Started in 1996 D-Mentd was formed and played the first live show in 1999.
Since then D-Mentd has been a part of several tours including, Twiztid,
Ice-T, and Filthfest. D-Mentd is also the former opening acts for
Kottonmouth Kings, Nappy Roots, Eek-A-Mouse, Insane Clown Posse, Bloodhound
Gang, WolfPac, Master Fuol of MTV’s Lyricist Lounge, Killah Priest of Wu
Tang Clan, Mixmob, Sloth (of Hollywood Records), and an ever growing list.
Since then D-Mentd has began headlining his own shows. Originally from
Wilmington, NC and moving out to Denver, CO to further the music career. The
style of music is for fans of all kinds. Its appeal captures that of hip hop
crowds as well as rock crowds. The style has been compared to everything
from Eazy E to Insane Clown Posse.
