Cross Canadian Ragweed never lets their fans down at their energy-filled live shows. With their new breed of rock and Texas country, Cross Canadian Ragweed has slowly yet surely established a steadily-growing fan base from both genres. One thing that has become extremely aparent from the live shows I have attended is that the majority of CCR fas that attend these shows are very dedicated to the band, singing along word for word every song, and enjoying every second of it. One thing that every CCR show boasts that never falls short is the incredible blend of music that is sure to leave you begging for more. The smooth mixture of guitars, bass, drums, vocals, and harmonica sound just as good live as on any studio album put out by the band. The crowd definitely responds to this sound with enthusiastic support; screaming and cheering for more. Lead man Cody Canada entertains the crowd with short stories of either humorous band experiences or opinions on current events happening both in music and the rest of the world. One of the crowd favorites, and a personal favorite for myself is “The President Song”, an American anthem showing a gung-ho approach of handling political issues in our country. Recently, CCR has modified the song by including a new verse responding to the terrorist attacks on America, including what would be done if “I were president”. The song offers a humorous appoach to viewing conflict in the world, and all concert attendees seem to appreciate it. Cross Canadian Ragweed offers an entertaining and very enjoyable live show. The best part: they seemingly never stop touring. Even if you’ve seen them a million times, the band is always evolving and improving, so go out and show support for the boys of Cross Canadian Ragweed! | |||||||
