Bio

A native of Vermont, now living in Denver via St. Louis, and Atlanta, Brian Thomas Bourgault is a songwriter and a performer. He creates with a formula rooted solidly in the fundamentals of melody and lyric, weaving themes of love (often lost), fear, regret and redemption through acoustic ballads and country inspired rockers. His creative influences can be traced back to the
classic rock of the 70’s that blasted almost non-stop from the family stereo, and his sound has been compared to such contemporaries as Uncle Tupelo, Whiskey Town, and Cracker. Brian’s tenor voice falls toward the twang of Steve Earle with a stiff shove from Paul Westerberg, and he plays his guitar like an intoxicated tight rope walker.
