Fitz and Bryon McMurry, along with their cousin Steve are the heart and driving soul of Acoustic Syndicate. The three grew up together in the farm country of northern Cleveland County, NC, singing together since they were small boys. Music runs deep through the family. Their influences run from the classic bluegrass masters to contemporary rock and jazz pioneers. The formidable song writing skills of Steve and Bryon coupled with the arrangement abilities of Fitz, results in a powerful and unique blend of acoustic Americana.

Jay Sanders is simply an extraordinary young bass player. Hailing from Nashville, Tennessee, he is able to drive the low end with a vast array of knowledge and technical ability. On both the upright and the electric, he is certain to become one of the era’s most recognized bassists.
